PONG!

"PONG! Zhang Dali Art Exhibition" is on display on the third to fifth floors of the Cloud Center at the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning (MOCAUP, also known as "Shenzhen Two Museums"). The exhibition is hosted by the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning, co-organized by Zhang Dali Studio, and curated by Shu Yang, a PhD in Art Studies and senior curator. It is open to the public from April 28 to July 31.

This exhibition is an important presentation of the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning's practice of its academic positioning and promotion of research-based curation. It takes case studies as a path to integrate design language, spatial narrative, public perception and urban experience, breaking the traditional exhibition mode and realizing the construction of a cross-border and cross-cultural communication medium.

The exhibition comprises eight installation works—"PONG!", "Opening", "Growth", "Dream", "Sea", "Entrance", "Sound", and "Imprint"—forming a complete sensory journey. Color, volume, path, sound, and the body participate in constructing the artwork's system, emphasizing that the audience is no longer merely an observer, but a co-creator of the work. Viewers will gradually enter the visual-psychological field constructed by the artist through walking, exploring, speaking, and traversing, completing an artistic journey centered on the body and senses.

Program Details

「PONG!
