Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 will once again become a focal point of the global art world, showcasing artistic innovation, regional diversity, and the creative energy of a new generation of galleries, artists, and curators, further highlighting Hong Kong's important position as an art hub in Asia and the world. Leveraging the thriving art ecosystem of the Asia-Pacific region, the fair continues to promote international cultural exchange, allowing audiences to experience the pulse of contemporary art from around the world within the city.
Key highlights of the Hong Kong exhibition in 2026
This year's fair brings together 240 leading galleries from 41 countries and regions, more than half of which have spaces in the Asia-Pacific region, with 29 galleries having a presence in Hong Kong, further solidifying the fair's position of being rooted in Asia and connecting the world. Meanwhile, 32 galleries from Australia, Japan, South Korea, Greater China, Turkey, France, Georgia, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United States are participating for the first time, showcasing emerging artistic forces and diverse cultural perspectives.
The brand-new exhibition area "Echoes" makes its debut, focusing on the artists' works over the past five years, presenting thematic exhibitions of up to three artists in each gallery booth; while "Encounters" brings large-scale installations, sculptures and performance art, and is the first to be jointly curated by four Asia-based curators, led by Mami Kataoka, in collaboration with Isabelle Tam, Alia Swastika and Hirokazu Tokuyama.
Public programs throughout the city will also return, including free "Film" film screenings, "Conversations" with Art Basel, and a number of events in collaboration with Hong Kong cultural institutions, deepening the connection between the fair and the local community. "Film" is curated by media artist Ellen Pau, while one day of the "Conversations" session will be hosted by Venus Lau, director of the Museum MACAN in Nusantara, Jakarta, promoting cross-cultural exchange within the Asian art world.
Presented by UBS, Art Basel and M+ have collaborated for the fifth consecutive year to present a large-scale public art commission on the M+ facade in the West Kowloon Cultural District. Pakistani-American artist Shahzia Sikander's work, "Wandering the Territorial Sea," will be presented in animated form, showcasing her hand-painted watercolor creations and depicting historical and modern trade routes, symbolizing the fluidity of global cultural exchange.
Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 will be held from March 27 to 29 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with a VIP preview from March 25 to 26.

2026 年巴塞爾藝術展香港展會將再次匯聚全球藝術界焦點，呈現藝術創新、地域多元性以及新一代藝廊、藝術家與策展人的創作能量，進一步彰顯香港作為亞洲乃至全球藝術樞紐的重要地位。依托亞太地區蓬勃發展的藝術生態，展會持續促進國際文化交流，讓觀眾在城市之中感受來自世界各地的當代藝術脈動。
2026 年香港展會重點
本屆展會匯聚來自 41 個國家及地區的 240 間頂尖藝廊，當中超過一半在亞太地區設有空間，並有 29 間藝廊於香港設點，進一步鞏固展會紮根亞洲、連結全球的定位。同時，來自澳洲、日本、韓國、大中華地區、土耳其、法國、格魯吉亞、德國、荷蘭、西班牙及美國的 32 間藝廊首次參展，展現新興藝術力量與多元文化視角。
全新展區「藝路迴聲（Echoes）」首次登場，聚焦藝術家近五年創作，於各藝廊展位中呈現最多三位藝術家的專題展示；而「藝聚空間（Encounters）」則帶來大型裝置、雕塑與行為藝術，並首次由四位駐亞洲策展人聯合策劃，由片岡真實（Mami Kataoka）領銜，聯同譚雪凝（Isabelle Tam）、Alia Swastika 及德山拓一（Hirokazu Tokuyama）共同呈現。
遍布全城的公眾項目亦將回歸，包括免費開放的「光映現場（Film）」電影放映、「與巴塞爾藝術展對話（Conversations）」以及與香港文化機構合作的多項活動，深化展會與本地社群的連結。「光映現場」由媒體藝術家鮑藹倫（Ellen Pau）策展，而「對話」環節其中一天將由雅加達努桑塔拉現當代藝術博物館（Museum MACAN）館長劉秀儀（Venus Lau）主持，推動亞洲藝術界的跨文化交流。
由瑞銀集團（UBS）呈獻，巴塞爾藝術展與 M+連續第五年合作，將於西九文化區 M+幕牆呈現大型公共藝術委約作品。巴基斯坦裔美國藝術家沙茲亞・西莰達（Shahzia Sikander）的作品《領海游移》將以動畫形式展現其手繪水彩創作，描繪歷史與現代貿易路線，象徵全球文化交流的流動性。
2026 年巴塞爾藝術展香港展會將於 3 月 27 日至 29 日在香港會議展覽中心舉行，貴賓預展日為 3 月 25 日至 26 日。
