The Happy Drum, also known as the Handpan or Steel Tongue Drum, was invented by Dennis Havlena in 2007. It produces harmonious and beautiful notes that float in the air through simple hand strikes. Suitable for those without a musical background or experience with instruments, this workshop will guide you to play beautiful melodies in a short time. Everyone can succeed in creating wonderful music through easy and simple guidance. We encourage you to befriend the instrument, let go of any critical mindset, and enjoy the present moment.

Improvisational Ensemble with Happy Drums and Nature-Inspired Instruments

The workshop will guide participants through an improvisational ensemble, allowing them to experience the joy of co-creation without the need for technical skill. The sounds of nature will lead your soul back to its true home. Through spontaneous striking, participants will generate musical rhythms that float in the void. These ethereal sounds, like a refreshing stream, can help you forget the unnecessary worries and stress of daily life, taking you into a world of light-hearted and joyful music. Here, you can fully immerse yourself in this beautiful melody, allowing the inner tension and anxiety to slowly release with the rhythm of the music, rediscovering that long-lost sense of relaxation and ease.
