Program Details

Find your women‘s power


By becoming aware of your body and mind,

By entering your inner wisdom, to discover your balance, to be strengthened, and to relax.


Strength and relaxation exercises will be included in the class. You will be guided to focus on the target areas related to women, such as the chest, upper back and hips. You will also experience some stress-release techniques and meditation practices that promote deep relaxation and healing.


The class will also provide a safe and supportive environment, encouraging women to embrace self-care and feel empowered by the community. All level students are welcome.


The class will mainly be taught in Mandarin.

Yoga mats are be provided by YUTER

Light Brunch and beverage is provided.

If there are adverse weather conditions, the event will be postponed. Please keep an eye on your registered email for event updates.


About the instructor:


Sherry


Sherry began her yoga journey in 2011 and has been sharing her passion as a yoga teacher since 2020. She holds a registered yoga teacher certificate in RYT200, as well as certifications in Yin Yoga and Pre & Post-Natal Yoga Teacher Training.


Sherry's classes are considerate, welcoming and inspiring. Rather than fully designing her classes, she simply allows them to unfold naturally, guiding the students through the practice in a way that feels authentic and intuitive, while grounding and detailed. She encourages her students to find the connection between their unique bodies and minds during the practice.


In addition to her work as a yoga teacher, Sherry is also an Architectural Designer. She embraces her "slash" identity and finds connections between yoga and the wider world. Sherry has organized special yoga events such as yoga in the art gallery and yoga and veganism retreat, gathering with diverse groups of people. She has also collaboratd with Sweaty Betty for community classes.


Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, Sherry's classes offer a space to deepen your inner practice and connect with a supportive community. Her passion for yoga and her creative approach make her classes a unique and enriching experience.

關於Sherry:


自從2011年踏上瑜珈墊開始,瑜珈就成為了Sherry生活的一部分。她在2020年參加了第一個瑜珈教師培訓,開啟了她的瑜珈教學之旅。目前,Sherry是全美瑜珈聯盟認證的瑜珈老師(RYT200);她還擁有陰瑜珈與功能解剖、孕期、產後瑜珈的培訓認證與教學資格。


Sherry的課堂是細緻的,是充滿鼓舞和啟迪人心的。她認為每個人的身體都是獨一無二的,因此經常鼓勵每個同學去覺察自己的身體,找到屬於自己的練習空間與節奏。在此之上她加以精準的細節練習,來幫助同學穩定地建立起身體的根基。她也認同身心是合一的,透過身體的練習可以找到內心的表達。


除了瑜珈老師的身份,Sherry也是一名建築設計師。這些身分帶給她更多樣化的視角,讓她不斷發掘瑜珈與其他事物的連結。她曾經在畫廊裡開設藝術x瑜珈的課程;與飲食blogger合作素食與瑜珈的健康活動;與運動服飾品牌Sweaty Betty合作一系列社區課程;與音療師、插花師合作;也在沙灘、草原、城市露臺探索戶外瑜珈的可能性。


“我覺得瑜珈帶給我的最大收穫就是更能“看見”我自己了,所以我也想與更多人探索自我覺察的意義。”
